Following a series of social media posts hints at it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally revealed its NFT (non fungible token) Project. At the heart of each Space Key is a block of carbon fire composite material that was shipped to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research project. After returning to Earth it was stamped with the QR code which links it to the digital component of the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that takes place at different times when the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Over 600 million pixels make each of the five images, which were shot by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used an inflatable camera that had a lens to capture the individual images, which were then put together into the final image. The result is an out of this world image that reveals the beauty of the Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic image of the car erupting from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned in the near future, however there isn't a specific date or place yet.
