French Door Refrigerator With Ice Maker Review

Special features like door-to-door dispensers, ice machines with higher-end features, and customizable flex drawers make them stand out from the crowd.

We asked experts like Ladina Schopf, an interior designer, architect, and founder of LS Projects, for tips on picking the right one. They weighed the capacity of storage as well as layout, energy efficiency, and other factors.

The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator is equipped with a all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator in this price range with Wi-Fi and app support via GE's SmartHQ software. The app is available for iOS and Android devices and lets you control your refrigerator from any place in the globe. It also comes with many options for customization. It also sends you notifications when doors are left open, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted and when it's time to change the filter.

It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS had Precise Fill, an option available in a handful of other GE fridges that allow you to set the number of cups of water you'd like to pour out simultaneously. It does have a countdown on the fridge's display to display how much water you have remaining, but that's not as useful as Precise Fill.

Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is an impressive product. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment that keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer, and two compressors to preserve food. The Ice maker we tested is one of the most efficient and produces an ice pyramid with only a little water. This refrigerator is a great choice for single household or kitchenettes looking for a sleek design and top-of-the-line food preservation.

This fridge was rated the most efficient in our Refrigerators Test for several reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained stable at just above 0 degrees Fahrenheit, and never moving by more than a fraction one degree. This is crucial to preventing freezing burn. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. The fridge is built with the standard French door design, with two rows of spill-capture shelving and a set crisper drawers. The top shelf to the right can be folded down to make space for taller items. There's also a full-width storage drawer for deli items and an internal water dispenser.

This refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker, making it easy to transfer the ice when needed. The freezer also comes with innovative design features such as sliding drawers that help you organize your items. It also has a huge bin that holds plenty of frozen food items and an additional ice storage bin.

Another great feature of this refrigerator is its Smart InstaView panel. You can control the temperature, lighting, and other aspects of your refrigerator from your smartphone. It's a simple method to keep track of your fridge and manage it, especially when away from home.
