Join USSEO @ NYU TANDON!

The USSEO Robotics Challenge at NYU Tandon introduces student innovators to the impact of engineering, creativity, robotics, and AI in solving real-world challenges. Students design, build, and test a single robot based on the year’s theme, gaining hands-on experience in mechanical design, teamwork, and structured problem-solving. Schools may register multiple teams, though each student may join only one team and each team may submit one robot. The challenge includes a virtual preliminary round and an in-person final at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, where top teams present their robots, compete for awards, and receive recognition for their work.

Age Groups:
Junior (8-10 years old)
Youth (11-13 years old)
Senior (14-18 years old)

Schedule:

● Registration: September 24, 2025 - March 24, 2026

● Preliminary Submission Window: March 25, 2026 - April 24, 2024

● Final Round: June 24, 2026 - June 26, 2026

Key Information:

● Finalists will have the opportunity to compete at the NYU Tandon campus, with

free tours and activities provided.

● prizes and certificates will be awarded to the winners and high performers.

● Opportunities for mentoring by experts in robotics and related fields will be available,

along with the chance for cultural exchange with students worldwide.
